Services (South Wales) was limited in September 1961, from a successful
partnership of two individuals with extensive practical and managerial
experience within the industry. Initially set up as a servicing
company, the range of activities undertaken by the company has broadened
to include design, installation, servicing and refurbishment of
all types of vertical lifts. Due to its solid reputation, the company
enjoys agency and/or approved installer status with a number of
Original Equipment Manufacturers. These include:- EA Foulds, Elex,
Stannah, Minivator (Sunrise Medical), Chiltern Invadex.
In the last 20 years the company has also expanded into the disabled/home
lift market with stair and vertical lifts, patient hoisting, handling
and bathing systems. Here too, due to our focus on end-user requirements,
we are one of the foremost suppliers in South Wales.
Lift Services has always recognised that its reputation rests on
the skills, attitudes and aptitudes of its employees, and has a
commitment to careful recruitment and development of staff, having
produced many fine engineers, some of whom have gone on to hold
senior positions elsewhere in the industry.
