Through-floor lifts
The
Minivator 3000 through-floor lift provides a safe, comfortable
and quiet ride, allowing easy access between floors. Two models
are available: the Wheelchair Carriage and the Compact Carriage.
The latter is ideal where space is limited, as it takes up only
2/3 of the space of the Wheelchair Carriage.
A variety of safety features are included, including an automatic
battery to allow lowering of the lift in the event of power failure,
and an inherent safety system to guard against the carriage falling.
An alarm system is fitted as standard, windows are made of toughened
safety glass, and half-hour fire protection is provided by both
the unit underpan and the ceiling/floor infill panel. Intumescent
fire and cold smoke seals are fitted as standard, and a sensitive
plate halts the unit if an obstruction to travel is encountered.
A key facility prevents unauthorised use, and an emergency door
release key is provided. There is also the option of an in-carriage
telephone.
The Minivator 3000 offers easy-to-operate wall-mounted controls
upstairs and down, and push-buttons inside the carriage. An integral
ramp in the Wheelchair Carriage allows easy entrance and exit. The
Wheelchair carriage can be fitted with a fold-up seat and powered
doors, while the Compact carriage can be fitted with a separate
sliding seat. The in-carriage light switches on automatically when
the lift is called, and turns itself off after use. The floor-ceiling
aperture opens and closes automatically.
The Minivator 3000 can be fitted to non-loadbearing walls or across
windows. Minimal headroom is required in the first floor room. The
Wheelchair carriage can be supplied in special sizes to meet your
requirements, up to 200mm longer and 150mm wider than the standard
model.
